E-twinning

„Z przyjemnością informujemy, że klasa 5 Zespołu Placówek Oświatowych w Siedlisku wraz z wychowawcą przystąpiła do projektu E-Twinning (Europejskie Partnerstwo Szkół) pod nazwą: „Inspiring Integrity - Teaching Core Values in Schools”.
Wraz z 27 nauczycielami, 166 uczniami z 5 krajów europejskich będziemy wspólnie pracować nad uniwersalnymi wartościami takimi jak przyjaźń, rodzina, odpowiedzialność.

Mamy nadzieję, że ucząc się o wartościach, nasi uczniowie wyrosną na rozważnych, odpowiedzialnych nastolatków, komunikacyjnych się w języku angielskim, świadomie i bezpiecznie używających narzędzi cyfrowych, gotowych do wywierania pozytywnego wpływu na swoje społeczności.
 

"We are pleased to announce that Class 5 of Zespół Placówek Oświatowych in Siedlisko, along with their form teacher, has just joined an E-Twinning project.It focuses on the values that shape responsible and compassionate individuals. Through discussions on respect, empathy, honesty, and more, students will explore how these principles impact their lives and relationships.
We aim to enhance critical thinking, teamwork, and digital skills by integrating web tools and AI into our activities. The project also fosters creativity, strengthens communication in English, and prepares students for life beyond school.

 

By learning about values, our students will grow into thoughtful, responsible teenagers, ready to make a positive impact in their communities.

 

"Little Astronomers" in December

This December, students presented astronomers who shaped our understanding of the universe. We were especially thrilled to showcase our native genius, Nicolaus Copernicus.

During workshops, students invented interview questions and posed them to an AI-generated Copernicus chatbot. It was an exciting way to practice English, refresh history knowledge, and have a lot of fun imagining conversations with the great astronomer himself!

A highlight of the part of the project was a stunning coal portrait of Copernicus drawn by Year 8a student Marysia.

During our Novemeber meeting, we created a tutorial video demonstrating how to assemble two types of telescopes: a reflector and a refractor. We hope that our video will help beginners in astronomy confidently set up their telescopes and start exploring the night sky. The session was a great mix of learning, creativity, and teamwork!

We are happy to announce that our school is participating in the international eTwinning project, Little Astronomers. This initiative brings together children from Turkey, Azerbaijan, Jordan, Portugal, Romania, Greece, and Poland, with our school proudly representing Poland. The main goals of the project are to improve English language skills and provide foundational knowledge in astronomy.

In October, the pupils designed a proposal for a project logo and attended an evening workshop on the solar system held at our school. The highlight of the event was a collaborative sky-watching session, where students had the opportunity to feel like real astronomers.

The Little Astronomers project is not only focused on science but also encourages learning about different cultures and fosters a passion for exploring the mysteries of the cosmos.

Z radością informujemy, że nasza szkoła bierze udział w międzynarodowym projekcie E-twinning "Little Astronomers". Projekt ten łączy dzieci z różnych krajów: Turcji, Azerbejdżanu, Jordanii, Portugalii, Rumunii, Grecji oraz Polski, którą reprezentuje nasza szkoła. Jego głównym celem jest podniesienie umiejętności języka angielskiego oraz zdobycie podstawowej wiedzy z zakresu astronomii.

It's been a pleasure for all of us to work together. We have an impression that we have made something important. We could show our creativity, cooperation and openness. It has really brought us together.
